Rajesh Kumar Purohit

Chairman & Managing Director

Rajesh Kumar Purohit started in the construction world long before Mahadev Construction was even a thought. For nearly a decade before starting the company, he worked as a self-employed contractor for some of India’s most prominent government bodies including BMC, MHADA, VVMC, PWD, and Indian Railways. He learned the trade the hard way, from the ground up, handling everything from planning to on-site execution himself.

In August 2016, he took everything he had learned and founded Mahadev Construction & Infrastructure Limited. What started as a small operation taking on projects in collaboration slowly grew into a company capable of handling major civil and infrastructure work across the state.

From 2016 to October 2025, he ran the company as a proprietorship, building its reputation one project at a time. In November 2026, the company transitioned into a limited company, reflecting the scale and ambition the business had grown into. What sets Rajesh apart is simple. He built his expertise through years of actual fieldwork, through relationships with contractors, engineers, and government departments, and through a stubborn commitment to getting things done right.

That experience is what drives every decision he makes for the company today. As Chairman & Managing Director, he continues to be closely involved in project execution, client relationships, and the overall direction of the business. He is still the person clients talk to, still the one who knows every active site, and still the one who holds the team accountable.

Pankaj Jain

Director, Business Development

Pankaj Jain brings 30 years of experience in civil construction and infrastructure to Mahadev Construction & Infrastructure Limited. That is three decades of working across projects, understanding what clients need, knowing where things can go wrong, and figuring out how to stop them from going wrong in the first place.

He joined Mahadev Construction back in 2016, right from the beginning. So he has been part of every stage of this company’s growth, from the early days of small-scale collaboration projects to the larger institutional and government contracts the company handles today.

He did not join when things were comfortable. He was there when the company was still finding its footing, and that matters. As Director of Business Development, Pankaj is the person responsible for how Mahadev Construction grows its client base, builds new partnerships, and identifies the right opportunities in the market. He understands the civil infrastructure space deeply, which means he can have genuine conversations with project owners, government bodies, and private developers about what they need and how the company can deliver it.

His approach to business development is not about pushing contracts. It is about building relationships that last. Most of the long-term clients Mahadev Construction works with came through Pankaj, and most of them keep coming back because he made the process straightforward from the start.
